The article discusses the peculiarities of loneliness among elderly people in Latvia. study involved 98 aged 65 to 86 living different social conditions: alone, with relatives, or a retirement home (Latvia). Psychometric characteristics UCLA Loneliness Scale (Version 3), adapted by author, are presented. survey results show views on old age and loneliness, feelings arising from relationships others, peers, communication skills. reasons for behavior during were studied. experience is also analyzed depending conditions.
